Meet the Team

Before he inspected homes, Doug led a successful career as the General Manager of a major supply chain company for over a decade. A few of his responsibilities included:

• Facilities inspections & report writing
• Logistics & maintenance management
• Customer relations management
• Business plan & budget development

Now that he’s trained and certified as a professional home inspector, Doug is delighted to utilize his extensive skill set in order to help families approach a real estate investment calmly, confidently, and with a firm understanding of a home’s present and future needs.

When he’s not on the job, Doug is an avid DIYer, and he can often be found planning and carrying out home improvement projects alongside his wife, Cheryl. Doug also enjoys staying active outdoors as much as possible. Doug is an Army combat veteran.

Cheryl is a former police officer who has served her community for over 18 years and a licensed real estate agent. Cheryl’s keen eye for detail is an asset that every good home inspector needs, and you can count on her patient and methodical approach to the process to reveal pertinent information about a home’s condition that may not be immediately apparent. Cheryl currently inspects homes on a part-time basis, working together with her husband Doug whenever she’s available.

In her free time, Cheryl enjoys staying active and physically fit. Cheryl enjoys scuba diving, cycling, and working on projects around the house. Cheryl is certified through the state of Ohio to teach Safety and Self-Defense for Real Estate Professionals.
